This page is for students currently taking lessons or people interested in learning how to play drums.

If you are interested in learning more about drum lessons please send me an email by clicking on the contact page.

If you are currently taking lessons please stay connected to this page for schedule changes and lesson tips. As well as student achievement and spotlights.

Lessons can focus on several areas. For beginners it is important to start with proper technique as well as learning how to read music. Once you have proper technique and the reading skills it is important to develope your listening skills. Listening to a variety of musical styles and learning to play multiple styles of music will put you on the path towards becoming a working musician.

I am also available for lessons to teach Ableton live and many facets of music technology. Including electronic percussion, MIDI, looping, syncing and working with DAW's.

Lessons can also focus on Hand percussion asl well.

In todays musical climate it pays to diversify. Don't let that next gig go to someone more qualified.

Check out these Drum Transcription Books. Transcribed by me for Rich Redmond, the drummer for Jason Aldean and studio drummer for Thompson Square and many other country recording artists.

Extras:

This is a brain teaser and a tribute to Frank Zappa's "Black Page". You may have seen this on my business card. Good luck!
